Catch Up

. . . A few weeks back we had some of Zach's family stop by for games, and near the end of the night Ty was being really naughty. Mainly, because he was so tired. He wouldn't go to bed without a story so knowing that I took him to bed read him a story and left thinking he'd had his routine so he'll go to bed now. Well, he came back out and the -- to bed, goodnight, hug/kiss/skin -- routine hit repeat about 3 more times. I had had it by that time and told him not to get out of bed again. If he did, I was going to turn off the Buckeye lamp he leaves on. So, I didn't hear from him again. After the company left (30 minutes later) I went to check on the kids & found Ty on the stairs fast asleep! :-) He had come down far enough we wouldn't know he was there, but so that he could still hear in on the fun. How sad. And then, yet another sledding trip. Unlike Eastern Idaho, where you can jump in your car and be at a sledding hill within minutes, Western Idaho you need to plan a full day event for it. So, we decided we would go, and also take the office staff. There's a place just past Idaho City with a great hill. It's really big, and snowmachines would have been a great help. We had a good time and the kids loved it. I got a workout carrying Bree up the hills. Oh yeah, and don't forget the time I helped hike Ty up to the top of the hill just for him to get there and let go of the tube. So, I got an added bonus of running down the hill and back up just for fun.
Mom and Bryton slowly makin' it up

Ty and Kimber

Bryton and Jessica's little boy

Ty after his crash. Zach thought it was funny so he made Ty wait to clean him off 'til he could get a picture. Sorry buddy I bet it was "Freez-sing!"

For Christmas my mom bought Bryton a GotZ doll because she thought it resembled her. Well, the other day, after lunch, Bryton had started playing with her baby and I realized they even had the same clothes on. (Totally an accident. The jeans I bought, but the sweater was a hand-me-down from her cousins) So I tried to get a picture. I wanted it to be a perfect picture so she could see how cute it was someday, but, oh yeah, she had already taken marker and written on her face, and the infamous binkie was in the way.
So here's a picture without the binkie! Neither are anywhere close to perfect. At least she'll get to remember the temper-tantrums she does so well.

And the update on Ty's tooth. No color change yet, but when he bites into things he still complains. Then, last night as I was brushing his teeth, I noticed the one on his left was out of position. Sure enough, it has loosened a bit, and it's a bit hard to see from this picture, but it has moved to his right and also more anteriorly. :-(

You're impressive. You don't even have to think to color coordinate!!! She's a doll even with the tantrums.

I love the pic of Ty on the stairs- so sweet. And Bryton's tantrum with the doll is hilarious! Too bad about Ty's tooth, but he doesn't need it much longer anyway, right?

The sledding looks like tons of fun. Travis and I are coming to Boise the second week in March. Travis has a conference to go to Maybe we can get together.

I haven't heard anything about this CE course, but I would for sure be up for a girls day. I'll have to ask him about it.
